Why I chose Paul for
my implant treatment

Mrs T

Look no further, Shenfine is absolutely the best. I have had no problems from start to finish and I am thrilled to bits with my implants they are perfect.

Mr Duncan Murray

I had a bone graft procedure carried out by Paul and his team in preparation to receive new implants. This was a complicated task carried out to a high standard with great skill, care and patience. Thank You to Paul and the team

Mrs Annette Cook

Paul is very caring and patient. I am a very nervous patient and he went to great lengths to put me at my ease and he talked me through each process. I can’t recommend him enough

Mrs Ritchie

Very helpful, friendly and always listens. He will always answer any queries or concerns I have. Paul even gave me his mobile number in case I needed any advice throughout my treatment, to me this is the best service you could ask for and way above expectations

Paul is very professional, explains what he is doing and why he is choosing that method. I know I am in good hands.

- Mrs M. Edwards

- A.Gates

Great experience. Very informative, answered my questions fully to explain the procedure aftercare and outcome. The actual surgery was pain free and I am now waiting to be fitted with my crown. I am very confident of a good result

- Mrs B

Thank you so much, Paul!

Paul is an extraordinary dental implant surgeon with extensive experience. His attention to detail is evident in every step of the implant process, from meticulous treatment planning to the precision of surgery and the final restoration with an implant-retained crown. His surgical skills are exceptional, and he provides clear and thorough guidance on post-implant care at each stage.

Thanks to Paul, I can now not only savor my meals but also smile with confidence. If you’re considering replacing a lost tooth with a fixed dental implant without compromising your adjacent teeth or the inconvenience of dentures, I wholeheartedly recommend Paul.

- Neha Devalia

A highly professional service. Treatment plan and consent process discussed in a comprehensive manner using a structured template incorporating the proposed treatment, alternative treatments available, associated risks with estimation of their relative frequency and the opportunity throughout all stages of the treatment programme to ask questions.

Comprehensive list of post procedure instructions provided along with a very useful post procedure equipment pack.  Telephone availability of the Dental Surgeon to deal with any potential problems related to the treatment undertaken, is very reassuring.

- Mr C

Professional and courteous from Paul and his team. The process was explained in detail. Very pleased with the result .

- Mrs E

I was a bit nervous prior to this procedure. However, I feel I have had a painless, supportive experience with a good result. All aspects were fully explained to me and all my questions answered. Yes, it’s not an overnight fix but the final result is worth waiting for.

- Mrs P

I have just completed my final procedure with Paul, it has taken a while as I had all 4 corners of my mouth to sort out. I had 3 implants and a bridge fitted and I am so pleased to have a full set of teeth again. I could tell after the first implant that Paul really knew what he was doing, and I was impressed with how thorough he was, making sure everything fit perfectly.

I would without hesitation recommend Paul’s services.

FAQs

Placing implants does involve surgery, however modern anaesthetics are more than capable of ensuring you will not feel anything at the time of surgery. Also the mouth has a great blood supply so healing is relatively rapid. Following the surgery there is usually some mild discomfort and swelling, the amount is dependant on the duration and complexity of the procedure, but a more important factor is your individual response which varies from person to person. I always prescribe some pain killers that are more than sufficient to minimise any post operative discomfort.
Implants are not cheap, however as long as you are not a smoker and do not have severe gum disease they have a better than 98% success rate at 10 years. My price for a single restored implant and implant tooth starts at about £2900. But this price could be higher if other procedures such as bone or gum grafting are required. I also guarantee all my work 100% for two years.
There is the quick way and the best way. Implants are not a quick fix, but by taking time and doing them properly, a successful long lasting outcome with fewer problems is more likely. The modern way to do implants is to do them in as few surgeries as possible. Ideally I like to remove a failing tooth, place the implant and do any other associated procedures all at the same time. Following this a period of 3-4 months is needed to allow adequate healing before the final tooth can be placed.
